Up to 16 people, from anywhere in the world with an internet connection, team up to play with and against each other to see who can take the other teams planets first. Think that sounds easy? Think again, since you are always teaming up with different people as well as playing against different people, there is always a challenge. Each player can fly different types of ships with various weapons and capabilities. There are multiple servers ready for people to play on and they are online 24x7. Netrek XP 2006 v1.1, the Windows version provided on this site, includes many new features, incredible graphic and sound enhancements, an updated configuration utility and a tutorial for new players.
